Condensate removal pumps can be either two piece or one piece and operate according to 4 different technologies:
Oscillating piston pumps
A piston sucks up then evacuates the condensation water
Centrifugal pumps
A turbine evacuates the condensation water.
Intended for high flow rates, centrifugal pumps are suitable for evacuating condensates known as “heavy” or “charged” condensates.
Peristaltic pumps
The compression of a tube by a roller conveys the condensates, whether charged or not.
These pumps are self-priming and can operate without water, but should not be operated continuously.
Membrane pump
The movements of a membrane, generated by 4 pistons, evacuates the condensation water, whether charged or not.
