Over the last 3 years, the Sauermann Group has taken steps to put in place a cross-functional organisation and more transparent and communicative information systems.
The information tools acquired by the Group will enable it to optimise supply management as a function of demand, supplier conditions, product lifetimes, order preparation, delivery rounds and necessary stock reservations.
All of these activities must operate in a reliable manner and the new IT tools will enable indispensable controls to assure this.
In 2008, the Group will deploy the necessary resources to assure “predictability”, workflow management, event management and a high level of traceability thanks to bar code type technologies.
