Our Quality Management System: a facilitating and federating organisation

The quality policy, first initiated by Management in 1992, has enabled the 2 production sites to obtain ISO 9001 v2000 (AFAQ and TÜV) company certification, which will be extended to the whole of the Group as of 2008.

In order to optimise resources and strive for efficiency, Sauermann has contributed to facilitating the tasks of each person, organising our operating system in a transparent manner, perpetuating our know how and establishing a documentation system shared by the whole Group.

The implementation of:

  • company-wide processes,
  • the recording of procedures
  • measures and audits
  • systematic controls on incoming and outgoing goods,
  • proposals for preventive and corrective improvements

in a matrix type project management environment (compliance with lead times) has allowed us to increase our profitability and our market growth.


This commitment to continuous improvement applies equally well to the management and the empowerment of all of our members of staff. This favours an improvement in the working climate through an unambiguous description of the role each person has to play and that of the external image of the Group through international recognition of the quality of its products and its services.

By mobilising the entire company around the common objectives of satisfying our customers and building customer loyalty, the effect of the QMS is to have a leverage effect in a total efficiency mindset.

This commitment to continuous improvement applies, today, to optimising the reactivity of the supply chain and the efficiency of the After Sales Service in order to be able to measure and qualify the extent of customer satisfaction.
